This week was all about unity! It was jam packed week full of ministry with one rest day, on Monday, when we went on a safari! It began with a conference on the 15th where the Holy Spirit broke out and we were able to help supply food packs to widows! Then in the evening on the 14th, 15th, and 16th there was a crusade put on by our strategic partners in ministry MASY Ministries! The 18th and 21st we did outreach with MASY and over a dozen other ministries in the village, where we saw some incredible healings, miracles, and supernatural testimonies! The 19th and 20th were prep days for the upcoming weekend. The evening of the 21st we held a mini youth retreat where over 35 young adults came from one of the local colleges to encounter Jesus. It began with a powerful time of worship, communion, and Intimacy with Jesus. We saw multiple students set free and healed just on the first night. After dinner they all slept over, along with having breakfast and prayer/worship the next morning. After breakfast we headed out to our outreach location. On outreach we broke the college students up into different teams. Some ministered, played games, and gave snacks to over 250 kids. Others helped our doctor do dozens of blood pressure checks and eye exams, along with giving out free glasses. Others preached and ministered to those waiting for eye glasses, and another group did door to door evangelism! This community was rocked with the gospel and love of Jesus this weekend. After outreach everyone went back to the missions house for a late lunch, worship and more prayers! Though short this mini retreat left an impact not only in the outreach community, but also in the team of students!
The word God gave to me to share at the conference on the 15th was Song of Solomon 2:10-15 TPT
“ARISE……THERE IS CHANGE IN THE AIR”
We saw that this week, as the body came together to build the kingdom. This week alone we worked with more than 20 churches and ministries to expand the gospel. Zambia is becoming a prototype for a united body of Christ, and the effects are becoming very evident! Even with just the influence Garden Missions has of unifying, the ripple effects of our influence have had a tremendous impact! This week as we travel to Livingstone, Zambia were we are working with more ministries to impact people with the gospel. There is a change in the air….. and soon it is heading to America as well! Prayer for us as we go to Livingstone and then make our way to our partner base in Botswana!
