Heidi Baker always says that as Christians, “Love has to look like something”.  These past two months, Love has looked like many different things for us at Garden Missions! We have done everything from continuing  to feed hundreds of peopl  back home in Kenosha, Wisconsin, to supplying sewing Discipleship classes and employment in Zambia, to building a toilet for a local church in Botswana (and now helping build a school there).

We also just had two different  trips our teams got back from. Our Zambia director Pauline and Ministry partner Dr. Joshua Baker, from South Africa,  just got back from a week in Malawi.  They stayed and ministered in a large refugee camp with almost 7,000 people in it. Joshua carried out a graduation for one of his bible colleges in the area. They both were able to preach, counsel, evangelize,  and pass out bibles we supplied.

Our team from Botswana and I took a three day trip into Namibia! The Namibian Caprivi strip is just an hour and a half from the base in Botswana. We were able to minister there by passing out some bags of rice, bibles, along with prophetically  pray for many people and the land. We were able to get a feeling for the culture in Namibia and strategically pray for the nation. We believe God will open doors in the coming year to begin doing outreaches there!

 HOLY SPIRITS NEXT PLAN!

At the end of September I will be traveling to South Africa and then onto India. I will have to travel to South Africa in able to fly to India. I’m maximizing the trip and linking up with one of our regional partners Dr. Joshua Baker there to do some ministry there! We are really excited for this trip to India because the strategic time it is in India! India is emerging in the global economic stage with this new “BRICS” currency rising. There is also intense persecution currently, along with the cricket world cup taking place at the same time and city we will be in. God has already begun opening up strategic connections  for us there. We believe this trip will be a pioneering trip, during which we will be able to really pray for India. We will meet up with local pastors and leaders, along with visiting villages and slums.
