Zambia Base

Our Zambian base is our Hub throughout Africa and is run by Pauline Chiko. Pauline spent over 16 years working with YWAM (Youth With A Mission)! Of that 16 years, she spent over eight years as the YWAM base director in Lusaka, Zambia. Pauline has a tremendous amount of missionary experience all across Africa. Her love for people is characterized by her commitment, mercy, and mother’s heart. She is a mother to many across Africa! The desire of this base is to raise up a generation that will be true disciples of Jesus! We desire to mobilize this generation through prayer, worship, outreaches, missions trips, and many other discipleship oriented programs. We currently do monthly medical outreaches and evangelism, along with weekly children’s programs, discipleship groups, and sewing classes, as well as different outreaches. We also started Life Of Hope Community School in October 2023! Life of Hope Community School serves around 160 kids in the Kampasa Compound of Lusaka, Zambia! Each student is getting a quality education, along with learning about Jesus, and receiving a daily meal!

We are currently renting a missions house in Lusaka to do ministry out of and also for hosting foreign teams. Long-term we desire to have our own piece of land that would house our missions base, school, clinic, skills training center, and farm. Out from this base we will be able to go to the most desperate and needy places throughout Zambia and the surrounding regions and provide, education, clean water, medical care, and most importantly the Love of Jesus.

Botswana Base

Our Base in Botswana is run by Christo and Luanni Pieterse who are the Founders of Sweep Missions. They and their four children are originally from Johannesburg, South Africa where they also had a thriving ministry, but have been residing in Sepupa, Botswana for the past two years! Their hearts are to seek and serve the poor, while sharing the love of Jesus and the fire of the gospel to lost! Their desire is to see the entirety of the Okavango Delta region of Botswana reached with the power of Jesus. They have a passion to raise up people into their callings and giftings God has for them.

This base is situated in the village of Sepupa that has a population of around 2,200 people, but with many villages around it (which borders the Okavango Delta). Christo and Luanni currently do weekly ministry in three of these neighboring villages, and do outreaches to others. Every week they minister at the police station, clinic, preschool, primary school, and the local church they pastor, along with the different village ministries. God has recently provided a boat which they plan on using throughout the delta to visit and minister to different villages along and across the river.

Kenosha Base

Kenosha is the headquarters and birthplace of Garden Missions! It is situated along Lake Michigan just between Chicago and Milwaukee. The Kenosha base is run by Dale and Judy Colson who are the parents of Garden Missions Founder Nathan Colson. The vision of this base is to be an evangelistic training center. This base houses one of the largest food pantries in southeastern Wisconsin, where currently anywhere from 400-800 people (125- 250 families) are given boxes of meat, produce, fruits & veggies, and shelf stable foods, two times a month. From this food ministry, another ministry to the elderly shut-ins has been birthed. Food is taken to those who are not able to leave their homes anymore, and they are visited and prayed with, sometimes for hours at a time. Another ministry done on the Kenosha base is nursing home ministry. Different volunteers go to sing, pray, speak to elderly people who are in different nursing homes throughout the city. Dale and Judy are also known for having worship on the streets of the downtown area, where people join them to evangelize and love on the broken. Each week they host Bible studies on Thursday nights @ 7pm!

In the coming year Dale and Judy also hope to begin hospital, prison, and police/firemen ministries as well. The goal is to mobilize the body of Christ. Two of the most lacking areas in the church is evangelism and discipleship. As the church , we see many people are afraid of evangelism because they have not had a safe place to grow and experience reaching out to people. This is what Dale and Judy’s desire is, to create a place where people are taught and discipled in a safe relaxed environment, while experiencing the power of Jesus!
