This is Life Of Hope Community School in Lusaka, Zambia! We have had a passion to start a school in the Kampasa squatter camp for the last year. After seeing the lack of education, how the closest school was 6 miles+ away and cut off by a river during rainy season, we knew we had to do something! In the middle of September our Zambia Director, Pauline, heard from God to start an elementary school there on October 9th, 2023. That week she met with the community leaders that we already had a good relationship with and began to vision cast. The following week she met with the same leaders along with the local councilor (congresswoman). They gave permission for us to use a building in that community that was designated for a school, but was left empty. Pauline quickly gathered some well trained people she knew in the community and October 9th they began classes. After one week they had 130 students and have been running strong since. Each child has been assessed and put into the corresponding grade level. Currently there are two grade pre-school and first grade. Even the 13 and 14 year old students were put into first grade because of lack of education.

On November 20th, 2023 we began a feeding program to feed every student daily, as many would go days with out a meal previously. God is doing an amazing work, as we have heard countless testimonies in the community on how Garden Missions has impacted their community.
